Eduardo Eloy - On the 30 years´ edge
As an emerging artist from the repressing and serious seventies, Eduardo Eloy went to Rio de Janeiro, where he left behind the shinning State of Ceará and some important punctual artists that made the history of the local art, even though dealing with the intransigence of a society at the time not inclined to the artistic innovations. Without official schools of art, and without great museological institutions that could foment the local contemporary production, it was a suffocating place for Eduardo Eloy's creativity.
